What is "6 Motion" ?
6 Motion is made possible thanks to LG’s Inverter Direct Drive motor which enables better control of the drum – from both a speed and rotation point of view, thus enabling different wash motions.
The different wash motions are specific to how the drum moves and its effect on the clothes and although different motions may be more suited to different fabrics, LG’s engineers have found the optimum combination of wash motions to deliver the best performance and care for your laundry based upon the programme selected.
Tumble (Basic Motion)
Conventional wash motion where clothes are moved from the bottom of the drum to the top in a large circular motion.
Filtration (Even Washing Performance)
The spinning drum spreads the clothes evenly around the sides of drum, then the detergent dosed water is sprayed into the garments – ensuring fabrics are thoroughly soaked.
Scrub (Effective Detergent Dissolving)
The scrubbing motion dissolves detergent quickly for an improved wash performance.
Clothes are gently moved from side-to-side for a delicate handwash effect.
Rolling (Silent Wash)
Constantly submerged under water, the laundry is gently washed with a rolling motion, ensuring a kind yet effective wash.
Stepping (Crease Care)
Garments are lifted to the top of the drum and then are dropped to the bottom, helping to reduce creases.
