LG rounds off MWC 2012 on a High Note

LG’s presence at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was larger, louder and a tad more innovative than usual. The company made big announcements and led the industry with a round of new gadget releases and substantial advancements in mobile technology. LG revealed the world’s first voice-to-video conversion over an LTE network with much fanfare. The demonstration used LG’s proprietary technology which enables users to seamlessly switch back and forth between high quality voice and high resolution video calls during an ongoing conversation without any downtime. Thanks to LG’s new feature, you wouldn’t need to hang up a voice call to make another call using the video mode. Another compliment to the LTE network was also a highly advanced video sharing module. LG demonstrated a video sharing service which allows real-time exchange of videos over an LTE network as they are being recorded. Consider this a major forte for citizen journalists engaged in shooting live footage of events and happenings.
